SB 703 (Kahn) SB 703 would revise references in the state nonprofit corporation act to reflect the new uniform securities (regulation) act adopted in 2008.
SB 706 (Olshove) SB 706 would revise references in the state savings and loan act to reflect the new uniform securities (regulation) act adopted in 2008.
SB 707 (Thomas) SB 707 would revise references in the Michigan education trust act to reflect the new uniform securities (regulation) act adopted in 2008.
SB 710 (Kuipers) SB 710 would revise references in the state credit services protection act to reflect the new uniform securities (regulation) act adopted in 2008.

GENERAL ORDERSSB 715 (Van Woerkom) The bill (S-1) would amend the Drain Code to expand the information that must be included in a notice of a public meeting to review the apportionment of benefits of a proposed drain.
SB 726 (Birkholz) The bill would amend the Michigan Planning Enabling Act to specify that members of a local planning commission who were not qualified electors of that local unit of government would have to be qualified electors of another local unit. The Act requires planning commission members to be qualified electors of the local unit. In a local unit meeting certain population criteria, however, a specific number of members may be individuals who are not qualified electors of that local unit.
